Heels for Hope

Empowering dreams, one step at a time

About Us

Heels for Hope is a service initiative founded by Nicole Hill, a proud Texan with Venezuelan roots, deeply shaped by her personal experiences living in Venezuela. Witnessing hardship and need firsthand moved her from a young age and has always fueled her desire to help. The idea for this project is inspired by the acts of service she took part in as a student in Venezuela, where each year before Christmas, her school organized a special event to bring joy to children from low-income communities. Even as children themselves, students became "padrinos" for the day, bringing food, drinks, playing games, and gifting a Christmas present to their assigned child. These moments left a lasting mark on Nicole’s heart. Now living far away, she feels an even greater responsibility to give back. By uniting support in the United States to bring help and hope to her second home. One story that especially impacted her was of a classmate who would miss school simply because he was hungry. It’s this kind of reality that drives Heels for Hope to uplift others through compassion, culture, and meaningful action across borders.

Vision

To create a lasting movement of giving that empowers Venezuelan children through education, play, and possibility. Reminding them that they are never forgotten, and always supported by those who walk with purpose and love.

To bring hope, dignity, and joy to children in underserved communities in Venezuela by providing essential school supplies and holiday gifts. Uniting two cultures, two countries, and one heart in service.

Why it matters?

Venezuela is facing a severe humanitarian crisis, and many children lack access to basic educational tools and emotional support. By donating school supplies or toys, we’re not just filling backpacks, we’re fueling futures and building bridges of hope.

“A pencil can be the start of a dream. A toy can be a child’s smile. Let’s give both.”
